People without ADD/ADHD will roll their eyes when I say what a life changer meds really are. I often wonder what my life would be like if I’d been properly treated when I was a kid, or if I’d been treated with real meds instead of self-medicating with Mt. Dew (4 cans/day) or coffee (3 venti/day).

I have faced fascism before, in this very country. I was one of 120,000 Japanese Americans summarily rounded up and expelled from our homes at gunpoint, all for the crime of looking like the people who bombed Pearl Harbor.
