US banks are allowed to operate in Canada and some do. They don’t offer full services here because they would have to follow Canadian bank laws for consumer protections and keep sufficient lending reserves.
Canada has not had a bank go under in 30 years while over 600 US banks entered receivership.

“40,000 🇨🇦 Canadian Soldiers, 153 of whom died, fought with us after 911. They weren’t attacked. WE were attacked, but they sent their troops to go fight with us.”

The way the Felon has treated our Canadian friends, we are not worthy of their friendship. His actions are disgusting and disgraceful.

The cries are getting louder about outside influences on the Alberta separation.

Ex-premier Jason Kenney is urging authorities to launch a formal inquiry into an Alberta separatist political organization after a sudden and suspicious $190,000 surge in contributions.

Precisely this. They're yearning for the mythical Alberta of their past, not the reality of the province they actually live in.
Separatists constantly suggest Alberta has a unique "cowboy", "toil the land", & "rural" culture.

Reality:
- AB as urban (80% +) & diverse as rest of Canada
- AB ag industry = about 2% of total economy. Ag is 1% of Ont's
- The cowboy hat thing = just identity fashion like punk pins, blue hair...

The U.S. administration keeps doing Canada’s negotiating team a favour: every time one of them opens their mouth, they prove exactly why Canada walked away.

At some point, the rhetoric stops being negotiation and starts confirming that signing a deal with these people would have been reckless.

The one thing about Alberta separation that is true: if it happens, there will never be an independent country nor even a 51st state.
They will be Venezuela North, governed as a 🇺🇸USA territory, just like Puerto Rico. No effective representation in DC.
Resource wealth plundered like never before.

Useful information
Looking at buying a new car, check the VIN.

Any car assembled in the US, the first number will be a 1, 4, or 5. Leave that car on the lot.

Any car assembled in Canada will begin with a 2. Excellent choice.

Any car assembled in Mexico begins with a 3. Also excellent choice.

Happy shopping!

Well, that artificial country just showed Quebecois that the French culture isn’t up for negotiation and that won’t ever going to change.
