2. Many describe a Kafkaesque existence of going to physical offices only to spend their time on video calls with the people sitting next to them

Random question: does X log you out after a certain amount of time? I couldn’t deactivate an acct when I deleted the app in 2024 (no access to the email). The acct still exists but I forgot the password. I’m pretty sure I logged out before deleting but I’m curious what happens if I didn’t.

As someone who lives downtown Ottawa and who was living dead centre of the "Red Zone" where I had to literally show ID at a police checkpoint in order to get to my apartment, a huge middle finger to this and what it's about to enable.

Ford just put every renter in Ontario into an even more precarious position. This is a clear and present danger to the 1.7 million renters in Ontario.
In particular, they want leases to no longer necessarily remain in effect indefinitely, so that landlords have more options for creating tenant turnover.
