Every single video game with multiple difficulty modes should have every mode unlocked from the beginning. I'm sick to death of being forced to play through a mind-numbingly easy "normal mode" in order to unlock an experience that is actually engaging.

I think Bethesda hasn’t been good for the gaming industry because they’ve led to this push towards open world non linear experiences as well as normalizing shipping out games that are full of bugs.

Every single video game with multiple difficulty modes should have every mode unlocked from the beginning. I'm sick to death of being forced to play through a mind-numbingly easy "normal mode" in order to unlock an experience that is actually engaging.
Combos in Street Fighter 2 did not arise from a glitch, contrary to the "common knowledge". Normal chains were an intended game mechanic. It's *special canceling* (the ability to combo normals into specials) that was the unintended mechanic.

For me, it's how the punk on the bus in Star Trek IV actually wrote and recorded the song that he's playing because he was annoyed the original song they had didn't sound punk at all.

Devil May Cry 1 cleared on Dante Must Die mode.
That was one of the most insanely difficult things I've ever experienced in a game. It's on a similar level as a Lv1 Critical playthrough of KH2

In fire emblem: thracia 776, if you steal all of the weapons off of an enemy on a map with a weapon shop, the enemy will actually retreat to the shop and buy themselves a new weapon. No other game in the series features this behavior
