Pro tip: if you have a tablet you don't use a lot anymore, you can set it up as a screen. I have it set up for my coding agents! It even works over wifi.

What is up with these slop coding content videos flooding YouTube, and coding people actually falling for them? I've even seen one straight up copy the voice from No Boilerplate whole the content was clearly AI generated, visuals and all.

I am exasperated with people accusing programmers of "gatekeeping" programming. We were practically dragging people through the gate. Do you know why a mindless LLM can tell you so much great programming information? It's because we've been sharing that information for free online for decades.

oh well. I guess I am waiting for sveltekit 4 if I want this feature? not being able to use remote queries as public API has been one of my pain points when deploying to anything that isn't a browser.

Think of it like opencode, by default it runs local, but on desktop it can connect to any server.

There a single thing still missing in sveltekit for me, and that's being able to connect any client to a kit server so that I can use their remote functions.

I've had this issue so often I'm seriously thinking of making a personal use patch for this...

Nuclear opinion: I don’t care if you use AI to write code,¹ but making a human review a change before an LLM is disrespectful.

Why am I catching your bugs if a computer could have done it? It’s like asking to review code that doesn’t compile or pass CI.

¹ As long as you do it responsibly.

People don't talk a lot about this, but there is actually a stratified hierarchy of AI tooling for devs. I can barely afford Opencode Go, while people like Theo are paying for multiple 200$ Claude Max plans.

babe is everything okay? you've barely touched your five mutually exclusive boolean props that should have been a single enum.

We're working to fix common issues when working with Svelte and AI. If you use AI with Svelte, we want to hear about the specific issues you've encountered. Your feedback will help us build an official MCP server and provide suggestions to AI models through static analysis. forms.gle/FhVGVAMCLBpw...
AI & Svelte: Common Issues
One of the biggest challenges when using AI with Svelte is that the syntax for Svelte 5 is quite new, and AI models often confuse it with the older Svelte 4 syntax. We're working to fix this by develo...
