I have had multiple Republican friends and acquaintances tell me in the last year that they “don’t like politics” or “don’t care about politics.” Which is weird because I used to talk politics with them all the time.

I’m having a memory. I was thinking about basketball and remembered how exciting it was to go by myself to the FedEx Forum in 2008 to watch Derrick Rose and the tigers play. I only missed one game that year. Fell in love with basketball all over again.
