Blood boiling. Not a good look for OpenAI or Greg Brockman here:
"ah nice" in response to "a hack to get around nytimes paywall" in his efforts "to scrape" The Times website. After many points on his bragging about OpenAI's substitution for news. /4

Straight from OpenAI's Brockman and Microsoft's Nadella - 'doom loop' for the entire web [as they vacuum up and substitute the work of journalism and threaten their economic foundations]. /2

"I expect to see the impact of our reforms reflected in the next set of results. They're ambitious and I believe they will have a lasting, sustainable and positive effect on education in Wales." (Dec 3rd, 2013)

PISA 2012 results - Huw Lewis (edu minister) said the results were disappointing and showed Wales had a long way to go. (BBC) "The Pisa results are stark and the message is very clear, we must improve educational attainment and standards right across the board."

Kirsty Williams - "we are not where we want to be."

Kirsty Williams, suggested that she did not expect an improvement between the 2012 and 2015 results. She said that there was a need to be realistic about how quickly the education reforms can embed within a system

In 2017 the WG roll back on their 2013 aim to be in the PISA top 20 and the minister drops the aim of a score of 500 in each PISA domain by 2021.
