A lot of ad hoc, unrelated news stories over the last few weeks and govt policy over the last term while watching my kids step out into early adulthood and I’ve been feeling this vibe for a while but not known what it really was until this post nails it.
We treat kids like shit in this country. We treat women and queer people like shit. We don’t provide social safety nets for families or people experiencing violence at home. Happening in an ableist society during a mass-disabling event.
