The scandal here being trans kids got the care they needed. Notice how Hannah never talks to the patients or the parents. It's always someone opposed to the care who claims it's a massive scandal but if that's the case, where are the patients and their parents?

I felt I really needed to write about Rowling's essay, not because it's new, but because it's so poisonous and ugly that it felt like sanitizing her not to acknowledge it on my trans news site.
There's no pretense left. J. K. Rowling made her hate for trans women clear in a slur-filled screed slurring them a dozen times and describing them as deceitful and dangerous.

I felt I really needed to write about Rowling's essay, not because it's new, but because it's so poisonous and ugly that it felt like sanitizing her not to acknowledge it on my trans news site.

Posted some stuff, realised I was doom scrolling, went away again to preserve what little of my sanity remains.
Back again because I saw someone I know IRL, and work with, doing the whole "vote lesser evil" thing and couldn't resist 🤷🏼♀️
