Martin Keown and Mikel Arteta both described the penalty incident as Ballard doing a judo throw on Konsa and it's hard to argue. Can understand why the ref gave it, but the VAR should be inviting him to have a look and review.

My TL is riddled with really smart and decent people focusing on not the incredible football we are playing and the decimation we wrought (if not on the scoreboard but on the pitch, at least) on Napoli (at *their* stadium) but rather their sadness with our backup striker.

I have seen quite a bit of second guessing that if Arsenal had just bid the £90-100 million (ignoring that it was well above the internal valuation) early they could have gotten it done.
