Hey y’all!

I’m excited to share a beta version of a “salary prediction” tool that I used to scale the output of my job 💪🤖

Users can query by job category, and location. Or by industry. New features coming…

Appreciate any feedback out there.

Some rudimentary #dataviz for a new beta #govcon #pricing product that I've been building.

I'm trying to predict salaries and leveraging in macro/microeconomic data for better insights.

First pick is salaries and 2nd is unemployment

Working on some #dataviz

This is something I quickly put together from the US Census.

Each green dot are places where they are over 90% of people with health insurance.

Red dots have less than 90%

Dot size is based on total population

A little bit of what I’ve been working in the #govcon #pricing space to help companies better price 🎯their next #proposal effort.

Looking for a few beta testers in the next few months. Hit me up if interested.

For someone making $500k per year, because of this threshold, social security doesn’t get $40k…. Someone making a million, $102k, $10m, $1.2M.

Curious what the everyone else thinks of this?

2/

Did you know that there are caps to the 6.2% that W2 workers pay, and the 6.2% that their employers pay; 12.4% if you’re self employed.

That threshold for this year is $176.1k this year, which is almost $22k per person, this year.

Why is there a threshold when the system is so “broke?”

1/ Ever since I was in college, in the late 90s, I’ve been hearing about how #insolvent #SocialSecurity #taxes will not be sufficient by the time I’m ready to retire, sometime in the 2040s.

So I once heard Elon Musk once say that socialism is "GDP as a percentage of Government/Private Sector."

I thought to myself, I'd like to measure that... and so I did.

The areas shaded in red below indicate when government contributions to GDP were greater than the private sector.

You can measure the GDP at the local level... total government versus private businesses.

🚨Hot off the Bureau of Labor Statistics presses...

You should be using this data to validate your #govcon #proposal #pricing labor escalation.

You can even drill down into a specific sector if you want to be fancy.

To understand #govcon pricing, you must understand how to calculate your fully loaded cost rate.

You take your direct labor costs and multiply by your #wrap rate.
