As many, many people have noted, this phrase reveals that they don't think THEY will be in the camps. It's a reveal that they really have little stakes in the any of this, and it's all symbolic. Politics are spectator sports to them.
The real tell with this is the pervasive "Enjoy being sent to the camps!" thing they do to Biden critics. They love that shit. It gives them such a thrill up their leg.
The way liberals talk about Trump and "the end of democracy" etc has this almost titillating quality to it. Like the catharsis you get watching an apocalyptic movie. Never admitting however that the dystopia is already here for 10s of millions of Americans and others we harm as a matter of course.

The APA is coming out SWINGING, utterly rejecting the stigma and misinformation around trans healthcare, calling for a total repeal of all anti-trans healthcare bills, & going for the throat of transphobic lies!
I know it's not the same as gov't policy, but this is still great.

The APA is coming out SWINGING, utterly rejecting the stigma and misinformation around trans healthcare, calling for a total repeal of all anti-trans healthcare bills, & going for the throat of transphobic lies!
