Are you into homebrew now then?

Lettuce seedlings went in a couple of weeks ago, and I've spring cabbage seedlings on the go too. Soon me sowing peas, onions and garlic too! We're under starters orders... 😂

Loved it, but likewise it made me feel inadequate with some of my crops. I've got just one pumpkin in fruit, two thirds of my courgettes curled up and died in the heatwave, the greenhouse incinerated the aubergines and my beans have struggled against the heat _and_ the mice. Next year, eh? 😉😂

Do it! Fruit and veg grow is good fun for gardeners, and you have a means to help ride out some of the coming food price rises we're likely to see in the years to come.

I do have a t-shirt that my co-workers bought me for Xmas a few years ago that says, "Shit Wizard" across the front. Partly due to my reputation for "magicking up" manure when people needed it. 🤣 #GardenersWorld

I was treasurer here for three or four years, so I know what you mean. I think having the right group on the committee makes a big difference, but it does suck time out of your own growing on the plot.

The old chap reminds me of Fred Dibnah. Got a similar voice and cheeky grin. #GardenersWorld

Absolutely - totally agree. Let's hope its something that comes with the changes next year, eh?

I miss Toby's garden builds. Geoff and Alan did a bit but I think, especially in today's 'environment', there should be more of it on GW.
