Blooming heck: MPs just don't get the fun of #Eurovision where coming last isn't some sort of world ending problem. There's many more actually important topics they should be spending their time, energy and resources on!

Change the way we travel? Then mandate that councils MUST rapidly roll-out safe, connected, direct cycle infrastructure everywhere (+fund them). It takes 15-20 mins by e-bike to travel across town, but direct uses a 40mph road with guaranteed close passes and only a narrow footpath for active travel

Blimey, kids have moved on since my day. Back when I was a nipper we just had a little plastic bucket and spade in the sandpit/beach.
🚧 The play area on the Rec will be closed from Tuesday to Friday for essential works near the sand pit involving mechanical diggers.
For safety reasons, the play area, public toilets and paddling pool will be closed during this time.
