Was awoken earlier this week to an unusual sound <insert subtext here> it was an Eurasian Blackcap, which I admit I had to use an app to identify.

Exactly. That’s what I and many others had to do to get down to the shops / sorting office / McD. It’s horrid trying to cross 3 lanes of busy traffic onto a narrow path. But was the only way. The scheme was a complete fuck up in my view.
