I think holding a fire sale for foreign investors, including Americans, and selling off Canada’s critical infrastructure is a bad idea and inconsistent with shoring up our sovereignty.

Just one man’s opinion!

The Canadian government is eyeing changes to the Canada Labour Code that could widen the definition of “essential services” to include work that’s important to the “well-being of the population.”

“These workers are essential to corporate profits, not human life” said Teamsters’ Christopher Monette
Mark Carney’s government is rushing through major changes to Canada’s labour laws. Unions say workers should be alarmed.

Unions are warning Carney’s government is planning to place limits on the right to strike and deliver other items on “Corporate Canada’s wish list”

Sorry but the sight of white people saying 'omg the police are treating me differently because of my skin colour' is just incredible, isn't it? Like, what the fuck, lads; combined with 'yah, shit isn't it? where were you for the last fucking century you thick racist clobbers'

In 1921, they told Agnes Macphail her nomination was a mistake. That she should step aside and let a man do the job.

She refused.

She became the first woman elected to Canada's House of Commons. She helped build the movement that became the New Democratic Party. (1/2)

True in my case, at least. Reading the fiction (and non-) in Playboy was crucially influential, while the big-busted babes didn’t really do much for me, something that gave me doubts about my pubescent masculinity — until I got a look at, say, Jane Birken.
porn magazines' fiction sections were, however, a genuinely important vehicle for supporting genre authors. basically all the people who ran them seem to have been nerds
Trumpsters claiming they voted for his economic policies remind me of when men would claim they read Playboy for the articles.
