(I am not going to tell you what this weird aftertaste reminds me of but suffice to say it's not something I want in my martini)

Also if anyone can recommend a good dry (affordable) vermouth I'm all ears because Noilly Prat Extra Dry is not the one. Gets the same weird aftertaste as Martini Rosso after it has been open a week or so.

Before I worked at my current job I applied for tonnes of positions and didn’t get a single interview other than for the job I got. And yet I go on website after website with copy written by people who can barely string a sentence together and it’s infuriating.

I know this because I haven't slept enough after my brain kept coming up with ideas for new creative projects at 5.30am. Then I listened to some contemporary music which requires active engagement of my brain. I was unable to do any of these things before except the sleeping badly bit.

Saw the first green plums of the season today, my fave 🥲
Gonna make some sort of plum and ginger almond upside down cake I reckon (with regular plums not the green ones)

Also went elsewhere to have cask for the last time and v disappointed that their bitter has lost its balance and is now somewhere between a bitter and a west coast pale. Luckily the uncomfortable brewery made up for it with two pretty spectacular beers.

I've also had two big cans of 7% IPA and a bottle of japenese sweet potato beer (??) which is why I'm being melodramatic.

Yeah if you had seen it you would be even less inclined to be worked up. Tonnes of chances. It will click eventually. People forget we were at this same point last year after a strong start.🤷

This talk of psychogeography is taking me back to my academia days given how close it is to what I was doing with my art practice (and with my cloudwater art). Definitely accidentally done some solo mapless dérive through cities before when away for conferences with time to kill.
