I want to say I think it might have been two channels that showed it--WNEW Channel 5 (before it became WNYW), and WPIX channel 11. I remember them airing midday, before the afternoon cartoons came on.

Wait, they made a cartoon based on the Little Rascals?

I...uh...WOW.

I thought so. It looked wonky for some reason I couldn't figure out, but it wasn't until I saw Rabbit Stew and guessed maybe that was why.

When they used the log gag in The Big Snooze, did they reuse the exact animation & drew Elmer Fudd over that hunter?

"Just seeing if the Scotchgard works."

Still can't believe there were great shows like these in the '90s, and yet execs actually greenlit crap like Homeboys in Outer Space. At least that one is mostly forgotten.

Those shows are amazing and hold up extremely well today.

I'm a mixed kid, (Puerto Rican & Mexican for my folks and a Black grandfather on my mom's side), and it was great to see shows where not only were Black leads, but there were REAL CHARACTERS, and not stereotypes & tropes.

"Shit's still better than what YOU can make."

Why bruise knuckles? That's what blunt instruments are for.

Off-screen, he seems like the type of guy that embraces silliness.

Seems to be a decent guy. Let him cook.

OH MY GOD WERNER GETS IT. Talks about skateboarding being trial and error. Yes. That's it. This is why I love it. You fail 8 million times but the one time you land it you feel like a God

Looking forward to rewatching the first 4 films when the 4K set drops this month. Haven't seen any of them in years.

The only money they got from it is when they sold it to Ketchup Ent. For $50 mil.

Haven't seen them air the '80s one yet--usually the '60s version on Saturday.
