Trying to think of something clever, but today isn't the day. Pop culture and stuff.

Silliness, puns, brutal honesty that needs to be said, and hope. The foundation for a great poster on this app.
Its hard. It always is. But don’t ever give up and don’t ever give in. That’s what they want you to do. Live truly and loudly for yourself in spite of them. Try your best to have a decent day. ❤️

Today is the birthday of Thaddeus "Ted" Shearer (Nov. 1, 1919–Dec. 26, 1992), cartoonist, advertising art director, veteran of WWII, & creator of the comic strip Quincy. He also illustrated the book series about young detective Billy Jo Jive, which became an animated segment on Sesame Street.

You ever have to read a sentence 2 or 3 times before you realize its saying something completely different than what you thought it was so then you chastise yourself b/c you know good and damn well you know what was being said but your brain decided to play mind games with itself? No? Just me? ‘Kay.

I got to talk with Nick Castle and it was delightful. Now I can say I shook hands with Michael Meyers. So any time I touch my own butt it's like Michael Meyers and Elvira are holding hands.

This is 100% truth right here.

Always thought those early films felt like Scooby-Doo without the dog.
The Final Destination franchise is better than the Scream franchise.

Prove me wrong.

I'm home.

Time to put this shitty week behind me and unwind. I know what I'll be doing for the next two days.

Please read. There's some good thoughts we could all use right now.

And as always, thank you, Jon.
Too many good ppl are dying…

But I do take some solace in the fact that the ones that have left us spent their entire lives using their talents to filling the world w/ love, laughter, entertainment & joy to get us past and/or distract & handle any hate.

For what it’s worth, that means something.

Fox: Why are you here this morning?

Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.

Power was out a couple of hours.

Got back on... found out Sir Patrick Stewart passed.

One of the greatest stage and screen actors of our time. Forever immortalized as Captain Jean Luc Picard and Professor X. Often serious, but never afraid to be silly. Forever a legend.

Rest well, Captain.
