Totally agree with the other artists standing up to the oppression of free speech and to the genicide of the Palestanians. Sheeran should do the same.
Pink! speaking on behalf of Jewish people, does not mean she should bash others for standing up for Palestinians.

Ed Sheeran's tour in trouble after opening acts drop out in solidarity with rapper Macklemore
Ed Sheeran's tour of North and South America was plunged into chaos when four of his supporting acts quit in solidarity with the rapper Macklemore, who was dropped for making pro-Palestinian comments.

KAEPERNICK: The part that I hope people take away in this moment is what Robert Kraft and what they’re saying by denying Macklemore is they are openly colluding.

They also want people to know that if you take an action that they don’t agree with, they will come for you.

Let’s hope this further pushes voters towards Dems. Johnson just ensured all of Congress will not get any more work done for the next six weeks. Six. WEEKS.

I watched Macklemore’s speech at the concert. He didn’t say anything remotely hateful of Jews. He criticized the Israeli government, but explicitly reached out Jews in the audience to say he loved them. That he was opposing genocide, not Jews. Outrageous that big arenas canceled him.

One of the coolest things about people who don't have a lot of power taking a principled stand is it lays bare the complete cowardice of the ones who actually *do* have power when they fail to do even a fraction as much.
Unlike Macklemore, these support acts don’t have big followings and they are giving up their chance to perform to stadiums to push back against censorship, not of themselves but of a fellow artist. Respect.
The Irish musicians, Beoga, who play alongside Ed Sheeran, have withdrawn from Sheeran’s tour.

This is the statement they published on Instagram:

I just filled my mom in on the Ed Sheeran mess and she said “well it’s obvious why these nfl owners are still letting Kanye play their stadiums. He loves Trump like they do!”

Seriously, what bullshit is Ed Sheeran even on right now.

FREE PALESTINE. Refusing to be on the right side of history IS being complicit in a GENOCIDE. NOT a “conflict”. Just say you’re scared to lose fans / money and shut up.

Additionally, Judaism and Zionism are NOT the same. END ANTISEMITISM.

Just so we’re clear, people are paying attention to the genocide in Palestine again after it got shunted to the sidelines, and Macklemore did that so 🤷

Don’t say speaking up doesn’t matter.

Macklemore can sue Robert Kraft for Tortious Interference for economic harm and I hope he does. Discovery would be fun: "Which other stadium owners did you talk to?" and "We need all related emails, text messages and contracts between you and them and you and Sheeran and Sheeran's team."
