I do love a train ride in the morning. #TeAwaKairangi #TeWhanganuiATara
A shot taken from the train as it crosses the bridge, looking south over Te Awa Kairangi. Blue sky and streaks of cloud reflected in the water. A shot taken from the train as it heads around Te Whanganui a Tara, the new seawall/cycle and pedestrian path in the foreground, the moana and then the far hills of Pencarrow in the distance. Blue sky and streaks of cloud (plus some reflections from inside the train)

Current view lying on the deck. Can’t beat Wellington etc
A view from lying down, looking upwards through the branches of a Silver Birch and a Ti Kouka, bright blue sky with a sun glare to the left.

Got “The Covid”, as Benjamin calls it, and gonna count today as a win as I managed to remove a ball of fluff from the axles of dismantled battery powered cars and get them functioning properly again.
The innards of the toy car exposed on the Winnie the Pooh plate/workbench. Reassembled toy cars sitting on the Winnie the Pooh plate/workbench alongside the tools for the job and a wee ball of fluff/hair The culprit (wee ball of fluff) that had jammed the wheels and prevented them from working.
