Elvers, lots of them. In 18 years of regular walks along the Dee at Banchory this is the first time I've seen eels in the river. Usually this wee pool is full of salmon small fry at this time of year. BTW a salmon parr puts in an appearance (bottom left) in the last second. #30DaysWild
