This reminds me of how anyone who has *ever* had to do wfh timekeeping has had to deal with software that is not at all designed for how humans work, and they end up having to mcguyver things to fit into how the timekeeping program wants stuff logged.
I really do think tech crossed a line at some point between "helping you do the things you want to do" on the one hand, and "helping you do the things tech wants you to do" on the other.
At this point, we're all contorting ourselves to live how the tech industry thinks we should be living.

Every college in this country decided that expelling and/or sending the police to beat the shit out of their own students for the crime of being opposed to genocide was their top priority. That and giving Trump complete control of what they teach. Contrast that with how they treat rapists.
