His relationship with other HK actors turned sour so nobody wants to work with him(he's extremely talented but also a real piece of xxxx to work with).

Every single one of Stephen Chow's films pre-2005.

Also this is the equivalent of Einstein saying, "It is the theory which decides what can be observed." In isolation, it's demonstrably false. But I'm not a talented physicist/screenwriter, so what do I know?🤷

Honestly, this actually makes sense to me. When I first watched that insane Saw Gerrera monologue in Andor S02, the entire scene felt like it had been built around this speech.

One could easily find content with much higher quality on most Chinese video-sharing platforms. Why can't they get a public screening permit? Since Niu Lai's unexpected virality, are we entering an era where low-effort content will flood the Chinese film market?

No offense to the creators of this film, but I do have some questions: In China, any film needs to get a public screening permit before actual screening in theaters, which could be difficult to acquire depending on government censorship.

No wonder Trump wrote love letters to Kim Jong-un.

I don't think this is a fair comparison since the amount of fraud & damage Xu Jiayin has caused actually dwarfs Bernie Madoff.

Or nuisance crimes.

Exemption from consequences is a disastrous consolation prize for those who do not thrive in our society.

May I present you the all time classics:
RT China posted a documentary about a JP volunteer fighting for the RU side on a CN video-sharing platform. At first, the comment section praised him as "a brave anti-fascist fighter." Then they realized he said he want to be like his kamikaze pilot grandpa

Many such cases.
Working class immigrants yearn for the political parties determined to expel them.

President Trump has described noncitizen voting as a Democratic plot to influence elections. But behind his claims of widespread fraud lies a different reality: many of the people prosecuted said they believed they were voting legally reut.rs/4vQ0tH4

Still cost too much IMO. During the Cultural Revolution in China, Worker-Peasant-Soldier students(yes that's a real word) used to learn how to destroy tanks with a wooden stick

I mean someone could... but I think $150 for the Come Back Alive foundation is a way better investment😉

Pretty close. It's mostly to ease the strain on healthcare system, which is omega fxxked given the aging population and looming demographic collapse.
