The disappointment that a Labour candidate won the Manchester mayoral vote and not a reform or any non-labour person is palpable.
The election magically went from being #bbcnews ; "the first true test of Andy Burnham" blah blah, to being instantly irrelevant.

Why was it a "test of Burnham" anyway ?

Worried about #bbcnews I haven't seen Kemi BadEnoch being interviewed this morning!??

I expected her to be commenting on Polanski or why wildfires are just summer or something

Thanks for this really insightful article George

CCS is a fossil fuel stitch-up - now with data centres. More data centres ⏩ more gas+CCS ⏩ more LNG ⏩ more methane ⏩ more heat🔥

Burnham has a chance to stop this spiralling - data centre moratorium, move CCS funding to green economy, no Rosebank
Despite all the noise today I'd really like you to read this, as I think it's crucial. The government's in the process of p*ssing up to £264 billion into the ground, at the behest of the fossil fuel industry. Yes, £264 *billion*. It's utterly mad, and has to stop. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

When I last looked for my OH it they take £3k / year off your disability allowance for a car. I bought my own second hand saved at least £2k a year. But some people can't mot or maintain a car so it is vital for them. Not a freebie.

Main Stream Media News channels platforming Tory after Tory over the supposed Rachel Reeves dishonesty is truly OTT.
Nearly 15 years of Conservative government lies, corruption and mismanagement, and they have the gall to ask for her to resign over this.
Pathetic. 😡

Exactly.
#bbcnews is a joke of a right-wing propaganda channel

Needs to be de-toried/faraged, starting with Robbie Gibb
I’m going to work now but I’m ever so fascinated that the rigour/nuttiness by the main stream media over yet another non-story about the Labour Gvt was nowhere to be seen over the very grave and serious interference and influence of Russia over Brexit via Farage www.theguardian.com/politics/201...

... oh it's still Robbie Gibb

#BBCLauraK what a stressful, rightwing propaganda pile of 💩

.. after blaming the terrible economy on speculation about the budget, they're now saying it's great, & then using that to attack Labour too 😂🤣😂
Absolutely disgusting biased and partial interview by @bbclaurak.bsky.social not listening, just repeating the same thing over again despite Rachel answering this at the start. I’m not a fan of Rachel but this is awful. #BBCLauraK

Rod Stewart has said Farage should be given a chance in government. Why is he opening the Royal British Legion Festival of Rembrance which remembers those who lost their lives fighting fascism?

Every country has a powerful right wing that argue “if you tax the wealthy, they’ll leave”

We need to start calling their bluff.

We need to make it so the ultra wealthy either contribute enough to be a positive part of society, or be globally shunned and unable to extract further funds from us.
