I find it wild that capitalism created an abstract person that takes on the liability of the company's misdeeds rather than the execs who are the one's truly responsible for allowing it.

Digital Ocean ended their $50/month sponsorship of GNOME and FlatHub and went radio silent on CSS-Tricks right around the time they found a spare three million dollars to burn on “sponsoring” a high-profile racist’s dotfiles repo.
Impossible to see this as anything but a statement of their values.

Too much bike infrastructure seems to be premised on the idea that drivers as a class are smart people and that every driver will be a good person

It is insane how this road is supposed to be a bike route, but you’re sharing the road with cars that treat it like a pass through between two freeways. Crossing it feels dangerous too as very few cars even stop for pedestrians.
