I work in cybersecurity and think too much about (and in) systems🤓Movies, music, books, food, and whatever keeps the mind fed.
It seems like I only come on here when I’m on vacation. Or when I’m back from vacation. Either way, book #1 of this vacation ✅ Pretty great insight into the work and clients of a psychoanalyst 📚💙

Imagine reducing decades of thinking into a 2,000-word bullet list so you can sound smart at brunch.

We’re turning depth into digestibility and calling it progress.

Today I’ll be reading about a family sprinting through the collapse of civilization, dodging their murderous neighbors and questioning what’s left of humanity. What am I reading? 📚💙 #booksky

Little Eve by Catriona Ward: all mist, madness, and manipulation. I loved the layers and slow-burn horror, but it’s dense enough to drown in. 3.5–4★ beautiful, but heavy📚💙 #booksky

From the tides of Mont-Saint-Michel: tender Bouchot mussels in golden saffron broth, crisp fries on the side, and a glass of Crémant.

AI “guardrails” sound good on paper. In practice? They’re often just pretty wrappers around systems we barely understand.

Went quiet for a while. Work got loud and LinkedIn got weirder. I’ve been building, watching, muttering “this is nonsense” a lot. Back now. Expect notes from the front lines: corporate chaos, #infosec, vendor BS, #AI, lean #GRC, side ventures.

Would love to reconnect with the smart ones still here.
