This, my friends, is one of your legislators. We didn't elect him, but he sits in the House of Lords as a reward for bringing us Brexit, injecting his bigotry, perversity and ignorance into our lives. Daniel Hannan in the Daily Mail today, once again grossly misrepresenting history.

For years I've been told that aviation emissions are negligible, so don't worry your little head about them. But I've kept pointing out that there are - and will be - no good technical solutions, and they'll keep growing. Now we know just how big the problem is.

More than 90% of hydrogen is fossil fuel based. Not green. Not renewable. Hydrogen is the industry’s plan to keep selling gas, by masquerading as renewable energy advocates. It’s A Fake Solution. Designed to lock fossil hydrogen into our future energy system under the guise of ‘progress’.

It is always the same betrayal: the public interest is sacrificed for the sake of immensely wealthy people. And Andy Burnham has already gone and done it.

Andy Burnham has already made a mistake that will cost him his premiership: he lost his nerve over political donations | George Monbiot
Being subservient to the interests of the wealthy now means that his hands are tied, and he will be unable to tackle Britain’s most pressing issues, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

Millions of people rely on the information they obtain via a search engine corporation which just proved it would alter digital reality if instructed to do so by those in political power.

That’s some crazy shit, Google.

Our rapid disillusionment with political leaders is treated by much of the media as some kind of pathology. But what I see is these leaders backtracking on their promises, dashing people's hopes and serving the ultra-rich ahead of the rest of the population. Why wouldn't we be disillusioned?

This is wonderful news!

There has been HUGE public pushback to any idea of shelving plans to take Thames Water into Special Administration

In Britain, parliament - not US hedge funds - is supreme

Take Thames Water into public hands. Change the law to nationalise water, energy and Royal Mail.
