Official Bluesky account for the reelection campaign of Spencer Compton for Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
Well, yeah, of course he'd say that, he's an egotist who spent a hell of a lot of money on a deeply unpopular figure's campaign. He didn't rig anything, really - hell, looking at what happened in Wisconsin, it probably hurt a bit in the long-run for Trump to start off so close to him.
Remember this going into the midterms.

Fellow Striders, don't panic. When Supreme Commander Stride concludes his conquest of Europe and declares the New British Empire, we will know this was a necessary step before we reach Elysium.
crying, screaming, throwing up at the prospect of Mel Stride no longer being shadow chancellor

It is crazy to say this about the Argentinean team. They're not babies. They might be soft like babies. They might cry like babies. They might even throw little tantrums if they don't get their way. But they're full-ass adults. And their coach should talk to them, actually.
I cannot overstate how much I hate when people are dicks about babies crying in public (especially airplanes).

Do you think the parent is having a good time right now?? Do you think they are not aware of the situation??? Are you going to negotiate with a literal infant????

It's nice, isn't it? The quiet.

Maybe there's something else that comes soon? Maybe there's some massive mistake, or maybe they're going to announce something even worse alongside it? Or just waiting for the weekend? Really struggling to understand why they've been relatively silent about their hatred now, of all times.
I'm surprised by the usual suspects this morning, not putting this all as a main story on their front pages. Almost as if they know how it looks to people who don't really care about trans people.

I'm not going to act like I despise figures like Brown, but it is pretty damning that a person born when he was first appointed to a semi-significant post as Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury would now be older than Brown himself was when he was appointed.

Today is an absolutely massive day in British politics. Seismic result for Wales in particular, I must say.

Obviously, I'm not looking forwards to the Harry Potter TV series for other reasons, but between that and the Lord of the Rings sequel being made, it's clear that a lot of major studios really don't have any original ideas left, and are more than content to float on repackaged nostalgia forevermore.

As it turns out, if you want to become a Senator, you should probably have a campaign team!
I've seen enough: James Talarico (D) wins the #TXSEN Dem primary.

Wow, what a nice quote from Dwight D. Eisenhower! I wonder if he did anything in his term that was particularly hawkish?

Reform win a seat: The true Volk have spoken and we all must listen.

Greens win a seat: Early reports that Muslims may have ‘voted’ (an ancient Islamic practice designed to steal elections). How severely should the franchise be limited in response?

Wow, I can't believe the kinds of article that Allister Heath has started coming out with!

Whilst some people may attempt to dismiss this incident as televised sex or harmless movies showing violence, the deliberate targeting of good old fashioned family values by showing obscene actions at them while they watch entertainment constitutes an attack on the things we used to rely.

Starmer can count to ten on his fingers. He can read a Level 5 book. He can discern between fiction and non-fiction. He can kick a ball. He only needs a naptime of 30 minutes a day. He can share with friends without throwing a tantrum. Those skills look simple, but they're not, and they're vital.

John Willburne.
Will Stancil really does have the exact type of personality that ends up leading revolutions, and I mean that in both the most laudatory and derogatory senses possible, including the fact that he would inevitably get purged after six months because of his inability to ever compromise or back down.

CCHQ apparently chipper tonight, I’m told.

As the polls close, they’re “utterly convinced” Susan Hall has won the Labour Deputy Leadership election on a low turnout.
