This was actually probably my favorite announcement of the show. Looks cool. Bloober has been on a streak lately and this gives me “modern version of a DS adventure game” vibes.

New Resident Evil movie was great. Super well directed and just a blast at the cinema. Cool that they can make good video game movie now.

They have all of these studios that now need to be supported by selling games only on Xbox/PC again (except when the games come to PS5/NS2, which is unclear and random now) when they have trained their players not to buy games on Xbox and play on GamePass, all while GamePass isn't remotely viable.

This looks like dog turd, is proof that everything in life is getting worse, and anyone who uses this should be arrested.
Nvidia says that game developers who support DLSS 5 will have "artistic control" over its effects, but if so, that's not obvious from the first demo.
DLSS 5 clearly overwrites game characters with AI beauty standards, but Nvidia says devs have 'artistic control'
The first demo for Nvidia's new AI rendering technique doesn't do much to combat the perception that generative AI homogenizes artwork.

This demo. It is actually in-engine. I was one of three level designers that worked on it. It worked best if you played it the way the person playing in the video plays it, but it still worked even if you didn't hit the marks perfectly.

That State of Play today was great. Genuinely really exciting stuff, feels like it could have been an actual showcase/E3-level presentation.
