Clean drinking water is one of those things we take for granted in the USA as it flows out of every faucet. But a tropical storm of hurricane can easily shut that down. Our family had our water essentially cut off with a Boil Water Order for 6 days after hurricane Milton.

Really??? Frump has enough money to tear down 1/3 of the White House, put in gold bathroom fixtures, and build a 1000 person banquet hall, but can't help feed kids and families. And don't give me the BS about donations used to do the construction...PATHETIC. As they say: Wake up America.

Getting over a stomach bug and decided to make a short trip to the most healing place I know...Lettuce Lake Park. It is like breathing in peace, breathing out love, breathing in healing, breathing out harmony.

As an #engineer, this is the kinda of insanity that has to stop, if humanity is to survive to the next level. Imagine a "modern" country like Russia, bombing a #nuclear structure built to protect all of us. Are they insane? There is no justification possible. www.dw.com/en/risks-pos...

When it was erected in 2019, the giant shell over the damaged nuclear reactor in Chernobyl was one of the biggest structures ever moved by humans. In February a Russian drone put a hole in it.

My #flutter app project involves having local database on phones with syncing to and from central backend. I was playing with #sqlite and #pocketbase, but just discovered #objectbox. Anyone out there have any experience with it? The local db Objectbox is Open source but sync part is subscription?

Update on the grasshoppers...they all dispersed across the yard all day, but even more have found the one palm tree they like to huddle together on...it is 7pm. Amazing.

Lettuce Lake Park here in #Tampa. I hike around here every weekend, except last 2. During that time the green leaves exploded. I love reflections. The observation tower gives you an amazing view. The Hillsborough River flows from swamps thru to downtown. This protected area full of gators and birds.
