FBI Whistleblower Says Emil Bove Directed Agents To Investigate Anti-ICE Protesters
Hey, this guy is a judge now! Let that seep in for a bit. Emil Bove used to work for the DOJ. Then he went to work for Trump, acting as his personal lawyer starting in 2023. Upon Trump's return to office, he was brought back to the DOJ to serve as an "associate deputy...

One of the reasons public opinion on trans health care is where it is is because a lot of cis people will never ever believe just how corrupt the professional medical class running our health care really is.
Anine is one of the people who worked to expose the research misconduct against trans people at Oslo University Hospital.

Yesterday, she was told she is no longer on their waitlist to receive gender-affirming care.

This is so obviously retaliatory, it's hard to put into words!

This was one of the more diabolical Trump admin moves on immigration; ordering ICE to stop taking biometrics for detained immigrants seeking immigration benefits from USCIS, which meant that the agency would deny their applications by default.

Please remember that any time the justification is “to protect women and girls” it’s almost always covering an attempt to limit the rights and freedom of women and girls.
An initiative on the ballot in Washington State this fall would require families to pay for their daughters to have a genital exam or other sex test if they want to play sports AT ANY LEVEL, and the left is sleeping on it. I talked to KUOW:

Hold up, I'm confused, probably because I'm nauseous.

The passports aren't for visitors, they're for citizens. I don't need to be welcomed, because this is actually my home.

On a visa, this would make sense, tho still be tyrannical. On a passport, it's incoherent.
There are different ways govts can do branding. The Trump administration has largely cut human-centered design and the goal of uniformity. Instead, it's focusing on the tastes and imagery of Trump. Lots of gold!
Reports say that future passports will include a mandatory image of Trump.

My personal "woke" view is that I hold men to standards; those men knew what they were doing and knew it was wrong. Everyone coming up with excuses for it also knows it's wrong but they either (a) cowardly want to avoid dealing with it or (b) want it to be debatable so they can do it with impunity.
Is it woke to be horrified by what happened at Cornell--and by the "boys will be boys" excuse-making of so many then and now?

If so, perhaps we should all be a little more woke?

What is the IceCube neutrino observatory?

Neutrinos are elusive particles that rarely interact, but can create flashes of light when they do. Most neutrino detectors are giant water tanks surrounded by light detectors. IceCube is kilometer-long strings of detectors embedded in the Antarctic ice.
A rare solo #NobelPrize in physics goes to neutrino scientist Francis Halzen “for decisive contributions to the IceCube Neutrino Observatory and the discovery of high-energy neutrinos of astrophysical origin”. Full coverage here: physicsworld.com/a/francis-ha... 🧪⚛️
