Yeah I had never heard "Brandy" until Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Who cares? James Gunn introduced me to that song, because he likes it, and he wanted his movie to feature it. Why deny him the credit?
Similarly, some M&Ms ad exec said "hell yes" to that Iron & Wine cover. Who knows why?
