I was 16 when they toured this album. Some friends and I camped over night at the Coliseum in Edmonton for tickets. It was the last time they allowed people to do that because it was *bonkers*. Great memories for country kids partying overnight in the “inner city”.

We have a family friend who was diagnosed in middle age. I want to think it’s been at least 20 years. She still lives a very good life, is in her early 70s, has gotten to see her kids married and has a bunch of grand kids.

Still really scary news for you though. Not trying to minimize it at all.
