One of the coolest things I ever got to see was PAC vs El Generico at a show in a random part of southern Illinois. Knowing one of those people is no longer with us is just plain sad.

Yes, various people around wrestling heard by midnight that Andy died. But they were asked not to say anything publicly until the family was notified. (And if they weren't told, it was common sense.) Random podcaster disregarded that and RSN ran with it.

RIP Andy Williams.
Other than a couple of messages after I posted his Why They Rule video, I didn’t know him.
But I thought it spoke volumes that SO many of his contemporaries shared it. In an industry of ego above all, he was respected and loved.

I didn't know Andy Williams personally, but he was definitely on the list of people that nobody had a bad word to say about. And what a run: Not only did he start late and earn a contract while not needing wrestling, he quickly became the kind of solid pro that was WAY beyond his years in wrestling.

Pablo Torre can obviously fight his own battles, but I can't get over how many prominent people in media downplayed, refuted, and even mocked his Clippers reporting and are now just silent on the whole thing.

ICE has fallen out of the headlines but July marked the largest number of migrant detentions ever on record. Five migrants have died in ICE custody in the last two months. It's also currently impossible to legally migrate to this country, as 100% of visa applications have been paused.

This exactly. Unless you’re going to be specific, the “apology” was a waste of time.
Drake Younger gave a P.R non-apology. He didn't take accountability for anything. He didn't name the things he did wrong. He didn't disavow the people he associated with. He didn't saying anything beyond "I'm sorry I offended people."

We do not have to watch the wizard bigot show. We do not have to write about the wizard bigot show. We can simply point out that the people making it chose to endorse bigotry. And not reward it with coverage or eyeballs.
I do not care what any of them has been coached to say. Their actions endorse the vile efforts of a bigot. A vast promotional apparatus this fall & beyond will try to make you think it’s more complicated than that. It isn’t. They’re all endorsing and helping a hateful bigot thru their active choices
