My nightmare: I spent about a year cross-stitching an original (highly niche) pattern. I took it to a local professional framer with good reviews.
They were taking longer than expected – when I followed up they apologised, said they’d forgotten to order one of the materials but would do it ASAP. >

I went to see this film this afternoon, because it was about the only film that fit in between work and a thing I have this evening, and... it kinda destroyed me??

I'm usually not a fan of pre-made Negronis (I knows whats I likes, and I mix it myself), but this is surprisingly good. Plenty of dark spice and sweetness, a little heavy on the vermouth with a sophisticated clinging bitterness.

I've had a very nice day today. I was productive at work, listened to some good music, had some nice beers and watched a couple of decent movies. Came home and talked to my lovely wife about matters of some importance that we agree upon. Can we ask for more than that?

This was like my 5th choice movie to watch today, but it's the one that would fit into my schedule given I have an early meeting tomorrow morning and I don't want a late night.
