Been here for a while. Now formally moving on from the increasingly toxic environment of the 🐦 app.

So, hello! I'm Joe. Living in the UK, working in IT. Married to my long suffering husband @simon.theultraworld.org. I don't post as much as I could, but love to read about others.

Glad to be here!

There's a story about the mix for Carpenter's "The Thing". So they're playing back the reel with the Blood Test Scene for Carpenter and the team and as the scene progresses, there's this slowly building rumbling sound... /1
I thought this serial killer documentary had a really effective creepy soundtrack. It was my dryer.

Amazingly, Zahawi only got round to deleting the below after the press conference announcing his defection to Reform.

Nigel Farage welcomes the experience Nadhim Zahawi brings to Reform.

Zahawi previously made tax payers pay to heat his stables and 'accidentally' paid millions less in tax than he should have. That experience?

My weirdest Christmas: I was 11 and braced for tension. Then I found my parents and step-parents in bed together
It was our first joint family Christmas, and I watched fearfully as my mum walked into the kitchen she had once called hers. The next 48 hours were full of surprises

Unbelievable that Donald Trump has been invited to a state visit to the UK.

We should not be rolling out the red carpet to celebrate this man.

this kind of obviously biased headline is so frustrating when MSM is fighting for credibility

2) Khan has won three elections so the average Londoner clearly doesn’t think he’s a failure

Those grey misty days between Christmas and New Year. A time when you forget which day is which and the hardest choice is which leftovers to eat. There's no name for it in the UK, though someone described it as Betwixtmas. The Norwegians call it Romjul or Mellomjul apparently. I like that.
