This is BBQ in KC - why wait in line for an hour+ when there are literally dozens of places in town that are 90% as good (or even better) and will have food to you 5 minutes after walking in the door?
Your mileage may vary but I’d much rather eat at a B+ restaurant that has some empty tables and no social pressure than an A+ restaurant any day of the week. Gimme some owner that’s been there for 40 years that recognizes you and tells you something about the food because he’s bored.

As a KC guy, I loved me some Leibrandt! He was stingy at times - saw him 1-hit the Brewers in 1987. The only hit he allowed?

As a KC guy, I loved me some Leibrandt! He was stingy at times - saw him 1-hit the Brewers in 1987. The only hit he allowed?
