The key difference in ratings is that while all voters see the same demented, bigoted, hate-motivated, nationalistic, fake-Christian Presidency, Republican voters love it while others hate it. Voters hate the democrats, either for opposing fascism or for not opposing it enough (plus other reasons).

A year ago my Trump-loving brother told my Trump-loving mother about these polls by saying Trump’s approval ratings were the highest ever for any president.

They don’t believe intellectually. They choose to “believe” to supplicate themselves to the great leader. When he lies like this it isn’t a test of intelligence, it’s a test of loyalty.
