I like some sort of idea where by clubs are given nominal credit based on Academy appearances. Eg 50 PL appearances from an Academy player = nominal £5m towards accounts, 100 app = £10m. The value can be whatever, but selling Academy players to go around self imposed rules is maddening.

6 balls, less than 2 mins of play and a day later its done. Cricket doesn't help itself at times. #countycricket #thecricket

Not helped by Ramsey's effort in the wall

Thanks for confirming. My guess had been Clive Allen...

Fair enough if that's the vibe. Although I do think City fan's bar may be higher than the one we will have. We need goals from midfield from whoever comes in.

Any pressure do you think from PL or other PL clubs on the powers that be (assume PL) to look at this Chelsea model/spending? I wear Black and White tinted glasses but for clubs like Villa and Forest too, you do think what's the point if they just keep on spending without real consequence.

A fitting emblem of that game.

The XI that finished this game will make a great 'missing men' in years to come. No one is guessing Toney and Burn up front in a WC semi
