Indeed. I write my own papers, and have no need of an "ai assistant". It's very disconcerting to know that some of my colleagues are using it for this purpose (in fact, I've reviewed at least one paper that was entirely AI-written, at least as far as I could tell).

I got told off for celebrating the Dbacks' win as it was "unfair to suffering New Yorkers". Um, ok. I celebrate pretty much every time I learn that the Yankees lose.
