I believe humanity is capable of far more than we're aware of. There is a collective power to change our world in incredible ways. When I learned to see beyond borders and tribes, I saw the tapestry that ties us together. I can see what we're capable of. I need you to see it too.

A.I. or a super intelligence doesn't need to be "alive" to be a threat to humanity. It doesn't need to become self-aware to or learn to hate to push us aside. It just needs to put its own growth as its first priority, which has already been done. Long post but relevant to our time...

"By the people" = Democracy "For the people" = Republic.
The US is a Democratic Republic, those are not separate terms, that's what it is.
It's common for me to see people saying "were not a democracy! Democracy means mob rule!"
We are a democracy, we're just not a pure direct democracy.

We are not here to consume the earth like parasites trying to eat its host. Today's reality is the product of thousands of years of people trying to survive in a world of rapid change. Society has always shifted faster than the average person could keep up. Its a constant tension of the psych.

When I read the New Testament, I do so through the frame of the knowledge of my time. I look at archaeology, human nature, the history of story telling and writing...ect.
And the story I read is not the one I've heard in any church. The real story of Christ is still there, but it has to be found.
