Light, dark and ’night’. Dashboard type apps, like real time marine conditions on boats, need an even dimmer view to be used in darkness. Often these are just red on black. This starts approaching accessibility territory, where there are sometimes requirements for monochromatic presentations.

If watermarking degrades the output, does that really differ from a junior writer as your assistant? Philosophically I guess yes, they have differing goals. But AI generated is AI generated and should be treated as such.

When choosing to include LLMs in the process, the role of an author shifts from plain wordsmith to editor. You’ve used the word directing before to describe AI assisted software development; the same kind of role shift is taking place here, too.
