Caught a “mystery horror” double bill last night which we had worked out in advance was almost certainly evil dead and it was

Man I keep bricking on the difficulty of Mega Man 11 after beating the previous 10, turned the difficulty down to casual and I’m still getting too many one hit kills on spikes/holes
I don’t know if I want to finish this let alone get dual override, could turn it down to newcomer but I’d be lying

With the Holmes documentary coming soon I’m finally getting around to season 2 of The Rehearsal (helped by realising it wouldn’t continue the story of the little kid) and this is great stuff

Was supposed to see the film last night but I’m sick so spent the day with this after a rough sleep
While I played 3 on GC back in the day this year is the first time I’ve ever played OG 1/2 (god bless save states)
Holds up well and gives me a new appreciation for remake

Finished DTF St. Louis there, which wasn’t what I expected when I started it and definitely didn’t end how I thought it was though.
That said, the ending got me.

I mean he’s a good writer and some character moments land and the act is perfectly recalling the series but this is just a bunch of future plots blended together with *a lot* of throwbacks to his own previous comics (kangaroo/gibbon/grisely, Baseball MJ, Last Hunt)
Tried repeatedly to get into a novel written by a guy from Derry but was unsuccessful so I went back to comics with a sequel to one of the most influential series of my youth written by one of my favourite spider-man writers

I mean he’s a good writer and some character moments land and the act is perfectly recalling the series but this is just a bunch of future plots blended together with *a lot* of throwbacks to his own previous comics (kangaroo/gibbon/grisely, Baseball MJ, Last Hunt)
On one hand this weeks Ted Lasso is the most I’ve laughed at the show this season.
On the other hand it (for now) completely handwaves the issues of the issues the woman are going through in the team with a pathetic post it note addition to “believe” at the end of it
