Yeah, I kinda remember something like that. Some glowing rock maybe. And that old sleestak that could speak English and was friendly but didn't really make them any less creepy.

I have a lot of faith in James but I'm worried about him both managing the DCU and being a primary creative. That's a good way to lose sight on some projects. He should be delegating more and cultivating a field of talent who can handle the creative load. Co-write some stuff at least.

You make a generation obsessed with wealth and financial freedom by making wealth and financial freedom mostly inaccessible. When class mobility becomes more accessible, there is less cause for fixation. And with less drive to cheat.

The basic premise was: Chuck was a janitor for an elementary school but then abandons his life to go back to his hometown to rediscover who he was. All his old friends still lived there and lived successful lives. Lucy a big time lawyer. Schroeder a famous pianist. Linus a therapist. Etc.
