AT&T Stadium reportedly is one of the venues that opposed Macklemore being on Ed Sheeran's bill. Worth noting that AT&T is hosting Kanye West in November.
New: Macklemore says Robert Kraft — who owns Gillette Stadium, where Macklemore & Ed Sheeran were to perform later this month — called Sheeran.

Kraft rallied other owners together behind an ultimatum for Sheeran: if Macklemore stays on the tour, you won't be allowed in our venues.

Pregnant women were also protected, as were their babies.

An El Niño-induced coastally-trapped Kelvin wave will likely raise water levels about 9-14 inches (relative to 1993-2025 averages) along the California coast in early October. Water temperatures will also increase.

The sudden increase will be as much as “the entire climate change anomaly in one go”

Exclusive: The Interior Department created a “White House priorities” list so that Trump’s pet projects could quickly be approved and funded—while maintenance needs at national parks across the country were deemed lower priorities, Michael Scherer reports:

There absolutely needs to be more protected bike lines and driver awareness, but anecdotally a lot of the serious injuries crashes on the Central Coast are kids driving badly.

Minimum age, mandatory bike helmets and bikers ed will save lives.
San Diego passed e-bike age limits after 865 ER visits in 2024.

But rules without protected bike lanes just manage the symptoms.

If the city wants e-bikes to replace car trips and stay safe, infrastructure has to follow the regulation.

I'll summarize this: Mamdani asked NYers to keep air conditioning at 78 degrees. A wave criticism hit online. A MSNBC broadcast pointed out the US Department of Energy recommends that 78 degree figure.

Immediately after, the US Department of Energy deleted 6,000 web pages related to energy saving.

Steyer has overtaken Becerra in Santa Cruz County.

Welcome to California.
The three counties I cover won't have their next update until Thursday/Friday night. After that they'll usually release a near final count the Tuesday after election day.
I'm sorry to anyone who is new to California.

Each county will update at most once a day — usually in the late afternoon PT.

Emphasis on *at most*: The two biggest counties in #CA06 (arguably the most important House count) won't have anything until Friday afternoon.
Why aren’t they updating vote totals at all, though? Almost nothing since morning.
