When I was a kid, I got a BB gun. I was expected to learn and demonstrate proper safety and technique with the BB gun before even touching a real rifle. Misuse or abuse of the BB gun would prevent me using a real gun and result in losing access to the BB gun...

Trump, unfortunately, seems to be about to do exactly what I expected he'd do in Iran: back out with basically nothing and pretend it's a big victory. We, and the region, are going to pay a terrible price in the future for this reckless war adventuring.

You don't usually get cult members out of their cult by shaming them as cult members. This is true no matter if the cult they are in is a religious, political, or personality cult. And it's especially true if the cult is all three put together.
