It’s worth noting that Taco Bell identified the source before the FDA did, and promptly pulled it from their stores. The FDA didn’t even name the source until Taylor Farms outed themselves, and hasn’t issued a recall. Basically, Taco Bell is now a more reliable authority than the FDA.

I suspect the actual mechanism here is that Twitter's algorithm systematically promotes left voices who hate Democrats and the Democratic Party and all those people loved Platner vs Bluesky which doesn't have an algorithm at all.
Legitimate question: Leftists and socialists on Twitter (I'm not talking about moderates or even conservatives, of course) are far more pro-Platner, while Bluesky is far more anti-Platner. What gives? #MESen
