Hi! I’m an indie game developer, I mostly do coding, design, UI, and a bit of audio.

I’ve got some game projects in the works 😈

Been making steady progress towards the helo prototype. Still very unoptimized and buggy, but I'm happy with the progress. First real multiplayer playtests will be coming soon! #godot #indiegamedev #helicopter

made a quick little crosshairs for the pilot in #helo inspired by bf6 and real life helicopter HUDs. Used inkscape for the dotted line and calculated the dash / gap pixels by calculating the circumference of the circle, then dividing by (2 * num_lines * stroke_width) 🤓 #godot #indiegamedev

Coded some improvements to the third person camera to make it more usable. Man rotations are hard. #indiegamedev #godot #helo

Made a "stinger" missile enemy to create a threat to the player in our helicopter game prototype. I had fun reading about how real stinger launchers work for inspiration on how to program the missile's guidance, which uses proportional navigation 🤓 #godot #helicopter #indiegamedev

We're taking the approach of making a fun prototype first before rabbit holing into oblivion. Since the flight was in a good enough spot, I did some work on the gunner's experience. Any ideas for what/who the enemies are? Robots? Terrorists? Robot terrorists? 🤔 #godot #indiedev #helicopter

Started a new game prototype last week with my friend @frenchjoe.bsky.social and I'm really enjoying the process so far. It's loosely inspired by games with co-op flying gameplay like battlefield BC2/3/4/6, planetside 2, even dust 514. All assets are placeholder :) #helo3d #godot #prototype

Feeling burnt out so I'm creating something simple.

Yesterday I glued together this diegetic main menu interface for my game. It's kinda gimmicky but I really like it. #godotengine #indiegamedev #zombies

Made a splash screen today in #godotengine. It's a minor thing but somehow this makes the project feel a lot more real.

I also had to add skipping for each logo just to satisfy my impatient brain.

Burnt some midnight oil to get some sound effects in the game. Might just be placeholders but it helps to feel out what I'm going for. And also just cuz it's cool. (I know I gotta turn the zombie noises down) #indiedev #godot #gamedev #sfx
