The work is sort of an examination of how it would feel to reconnect with the 🌎 and live as good stewards with an understanding of how woven into the tapestry of the planet we are.

It’s possible to take a step back from technology and let nature lead the way again, it has a whole hell of a lot more to teach us & in ways that have nothing to do with commodifying it…. My most recent piece.

Photographed one of my pieces in the garden last night… Wonder can spark curiosity, which can lead to knowledge and connection and a more resilient environment when we lean into it.

On my desk today, trying to decide whether to chop it to make it into a 5×7 piece or work with things as is…

Today I hiked the in the pouring rain, through a rainforest with ancient, old growth trees and surrounded by some of the people I love the absolute most. I stopped often, in awe of where I was standing. I slipped down into a valley & my chest felt heavy & tears came…

Quick drawing from sunset at Chesterman Beach last night on Vancouver Island… being here in this place and sharing it with family is surreal.

This is a really well written piece on what’s happening and the ways people manipulate to make it seem like a good idea. #publiclands #climatechange #biodiversity #conservation

A call to action that is small when done individually but can improve things for pollinators that create ripples well beyond what we can see

There are like 17 terrible things happening per hour, but as a gal from Tornado Country, gutting NOAA when we're in the midst of an escalating series of unprecedented weather disasters is an unhinged act. Weather doesn't care where you live or how much money you have, it will fuck you up either way.

Greeting you on Bluesky with this reminder

They are living, thinking, feeling beings

And they deserve our respect, even if we haven't earned theirs.

One love

A little video of a piece I just finished up this week, this little collection is finally starting to take shape. The flowers are Blue Mistflowers, a native flower here in the Midwest.
